Clay Smith

Chief Executive Officer

Clay Smith is the Chief Executive Officer of EVOLVE MEP. Clay comes to EVOLVE with over 25 years of leadership and executive management experience primarily focused on construction and technology. His background includes start-up ventures to multi-billion dollar organizations. Clay is passionate about the industry disrupting power that results from the combination of accurately deployed innovation and fully aligned teams. His passion comes from the leadership lessons he’s learned as an executive, entrepreneur, helicopter pilot, cadet, and officer in the 101st Airborne Division. Clay is a graduate of West Point and proud Army football letterman.

Steve King

Materials Product Manager

Steve King spent over 30 years in the electrical industry before joining the EVOLVE MEP team. He began his career as an apprentice and worked his way up to project foreman. Steve also owned an electrical contracting company for 10 years. He is a skilled Project Manager and Electrical Estimator who started the first prefabrication facility on the East Coast in 2004 along with designing and building 4 prefabrication facilities for 3 different contractors. Steve is passionate about prefabrication and making our clients’ lives easier.

Richard Burroughs IV

Chief Financial Officer

Richard Burroughs received his MBA from UVA Darden with a concentration in Corporate Finance & Investment Banking. Burroughs also brings rich operating experience from stints with Autodesk’s product analytics team and as a general manager for CASK and Cortland Partners, a construction technology and building supply company. Burroughs received his undergraduate degree in Building Construction from Georgia Tech.

Adam Heon

Director of Product

Adam Heon has spent over 15 years in the electrical industry before joining EVOLVE where his focus is the execution of software development and services for our electrical contracting customers.
He started his experience in field as an electrical apprentice and continued his education earning a BS in Construction Management. He spent over 6 years as a project manager then transitioned to focusing on design and prefabrication where he has spent the last 10 years in the industry as a designer/detailer, VDC Manager and LEAN champion for design and fabrication departments.

David Gabriel

VP of Growth

David Gabriel is an accomplished software marketing leader with 6+ years of experience in creating and executing growth strategies and tactics that have resulted in increased demand generation and millions of dollars in revenue growth. He excels in helping organizations evolve through powerful and innovative plans that drive bottom line results. He has proven success in identifying issues, developing solutions, selling ideas, and leading programs.

Jason Faulkner

Director of Development

Jason Faulkner is the Director of Development for EVOLVE MEP. Jason has over 15 years of professional development experience working with construction and engineering firms. At EVOLVE MEP he works with product managers and the talented group of in house developers to architect the core solutions and ensure they are maintainable and flexible for years to come.

Amber Zinky

Director of Customer Success

Amber Zinky studied Civil Engineering at Moraine Park Technical College in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Amber received hands-on experience in different areas of the field through schooling and previous work experience. Amber has diverse skills in site drawings, MEP modeling, surveying, structural calculations, hand drafting, estimation, Revit family development, Microsoft Excel Macro development, prefabrication, point layout, developing SOP documentation, and training. Amber has a passion for helping find ways to make the industry more efficient and finding ways to solve problems.
