eVolve MEP Names Clay Smith as CEO and Jim Mitchell as CRO
Under Smith and Mitchell’s leadership, eVolve MEP had record sales in 2018
and is projected to break record again for 2019
ATLANTA (July 18, 2019) — eVolve MEP, a revolutionary new product leader in the mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) industry, announced today the promotion of Clay Smith and Jim Mitchell. Smith, who previously held the title of president, is the new chief executive officer. Mitchell has been promoted from vice president of sales to chief revenue officer. Under Smith and Mitchell’s leadership, eVolve MEP reported record results following the close of 2018. The company is situated to surpass those records for the remainder of 2019 by providing the most efficient prefabrication workflow in the MEP industry.

Smith joined eVolve MEP with over 25 years of leadership and executive management experience primarily focused on construction and technology. His background ranges from start-up ventures to multi-billion-dollar organizations to time spent as a helicopter pilot, cadet and officer in the 101st Airborne Division of the U.S. Army.
Before joining eVolve MEP, new CRO Mitchell had been a sales and marketing leader at a number of successful SaaS companies. He was involved with exits close to $1 billion, including one IPO and several exits over $100 million. He has an undergraduate degree from Bucknell University and an MBA from The Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
