MEP Force Conference has Record Attendance, Boosts Trades Continued Success with Best Practice and Technology Sharing in Fabrication and Prefabrication
eVolveMEP Software was the primary sponsor at the recent MEP Force Conference held in San Antonio. The conference drew a record crowd of over 400 attendees and was represented across a variety of trades and contractors including sheet metal, heating, ventilation, air conditioning and electrical interests. Each year the conference focuses on best practices and educational opportunities for the trades as they all continue to face ongoing labor shortages, profitability pressures and on-the-job safety. Over 70 classes were offered on a variety of fabrication, collaboration and leading edge technologies.
Other sponsors at the event included eSub, ManufactOn, MesTek, Applied Software, GeoShack, and TriBuild. Keynote speakers included Steve Butler, Josh Bone, Jonathan Marsh, Tim Speno and Travis Voss. Dave Hughes, Pre-Construction Design Manager at Power Design commented, “This is the best conference to interact with others in the trade to find out how they are adapting to pre-construction and moving forward in our rapidly changing industry.” Overall feedback from attendees will be compiled and used to select speakers and conference themes for 2020.
Speno, President and CEO of E2E Summit, challenged the attendees to come up with a theme for the following year regarding embracing change and seizing the opportunity to lead through challenging times.
